It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our chairman, Lynn Burton. Lynn passed-away peacefully, in the early hours of Sunday 3rd May, 2020. We offer our sincere condolences to Lynn’s husband Lester, and to her children and grandchildren.
Lynn had been battling cancer for some two years, during which time she continued to work for the Ann Conroy Trust, always keeping at the forefront of her thoughts the welfare of those who, as she had done, live with the effects of Chiari and syringomyeliaA cavity, within the spinal cord, which is filled with cerebrospinal fluid. Unfortunately, the current global health crisis means that attendance at Lynn’s funeral will be limited to immediate family members. We nevertheless realise that a lot of people, who have been associated with the Ann Conroy Trust over the past fifteen years, will want to express their thanks to Lynn. We, therefore, invite anybody who wishes to do so, to send their thoughts, messages and memories of Lynn to us, via e-mail or our Facebook page, so that we can include them in the next edition of our magazine, which will be dedicated to the memory of Lynn.
